Nikki Forecast a Conveyancing Executive in our Clacton office explains the importance of the relationship between your estate agent and conveyancer and why a good relationship matters.
Q. When to instruct us?
A. Our job is to undertake the legal work for you on your conveyancing transaction. The process of which can be found detailed on our website on the following link.
We will communicate with you throughout the transaction to keep you updated and ensure you understand the information we provide you.
We will communicate with your estate agent to provide them with the necessary information to keep the chain up to date throughout the transaction.
Here at Hayward Moon, we pride ourselves on building strong and professional relationships with our local estate agents. We have asked three of our local estate agents here in Clacton to share their opinion on this topic:
Brady Rackham Partner at Palmer and Partners
“We have been working closely with Hayward Moon for several months now to form a relationship that gives our mutual clients a better moving experience. Buying and selling can be extremely stressful and sometimes just simple communication with regular updates can help settle the nerves and expectations of clients throughout the transaction.
It is important to allow the conveyancers the time to be able to conduct their vital work efficiently without persistent calls and emails however it is reassuring to know when we do need to get an update that we are safe in the knowledge we will receive which enables us to work much better with timescales etc.”
Hayley Jones Sales Progressor at Lamb & Co
“A strong partnership with diligent and communicative conveyancers enhances our ability to provide a seamless service to our clients, boosting their confidence and satisfaction. This collaborative relationship not only streamlines the whole conveyancing process but also builds trust and professionalism, which in turn boosts our agency’s success and reputation. Thank you, Nikki, we love working with you!”
James Eniffer Director at Sheens Estate Agents- Question and Answer
Q. How important is communication between agents and conveyancers?
A. Estate agents are often the first call from clients for updates on the sale, so it is always helpful to have a good communication. Especially as clients often ring us at weekends its helpful to have the most up to date info on our files.
Q. Mutual outcome and how do we achieve this?
Q. How important is trust between the estate agent and conveyancer?
A. Very important. We are reliant on the conveyancers getting this over the line. We are reliant on knowing conveyancers are working efficiently on the files.
As you can see from the comments of our local estate agents here in Clacton the key words used are communication, trust, and professionalism all of which we are lucky to have with the estate agents that we work with.
Working in conveyancing we receive a high volume of calls and emails and so it is very important to have an estate agent that can assist in communicating with the chain. We therefore put trust in the estate agents to provide the correct updates to our clients and other parties in the chain of which ease any anxieties about the process if they are receiving helpful and correct information. It is also important to have estate agents working along side us that respect our time and understand our capacity levels.
To work alongside estate agents that we have built a good relationship with is like us working with extended colleagues, who we can always speak to and create the best solutions for you as our clients.
